Basic Safeguarding Information

NEVER try to deal with a welfare or safeguarding concern yourself. However, if you feel that a child is in immediate harm or danger, then you MUST consult with the Police in the first instance. Do not assume that someone else is dealing with it.

Our welfare team are trained to deal with any child welfare or saftegaurding concern, so please signpost ALL concerns, including any that you have already notified to the Police, to one of our three welfare officiers detailed above.
