Head Coach, Jacqueline Farrow left a career in the local council
to pursue her passion for swim coaching. Jacqueline is
driven and dedicated to this sport, she is on a mission to produce
great swimmers and was voted Kettering Sports Coach of the Year
She was a club swimmer as a child then returned to swimming as
an adult and swam at masters nationals and also got her county
colours for representing Northamptonshire. Her husband also
coaches and she has two children who swim and for KASC.
Outside of swimming she was a dancer for 25 years. She has
also produced England players from her rounders team where she has
been a committee member, player, captain and coach in the local
league for 35 years.
Junior Head Coach
Since the beginning of January 2016 I have taken on the role
of Junior Head Coach. Most of you know me as I was previously
Assistant Junior Head Coach. Claire wanted to
spend more time at her Sports Therapy Clinic and after completing
my qualifications and Sports Coaching degree I decided coaching
swimming was the career path for me.
I’ve been a member of the club since I was 7 so for nearly 17
years! I started as a beginner and like many of you worked my way
up to the senior squads. I swam in galas, open meets, county,
regional and national (Welsh) competitions.
I am looking forward to spending many more years at the club as a
swimmer and more importantly a coach. The club as a whole is doing
fantastically well at the minute and it is great to be a part
of that. Onwards and upwards for KASC!
