Hemel Fly Fest
Final arrangements for Saturday.
by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org please up to midnight on Friday 21st. After that (and preferably only by exception), in person and in writing to the results table on the night by 7.10pm
for those unfamiliar with Hemel, if you use the centre car parks you have to register your car at the kiosks in reception. The advertised 3 hr limit should have been extended, but if you exceed 3 hrs and feel nervous just re-enter your registration as you leave.
Before the competition
please congregate well to the right of reception and don’t block the entrance to the changing village; a disabled club swims before us and not unreasonably they don’t like fighting their way out through hordes of swimmers. I need their goodwill to get the pool set up before 7pm so your help would be appreciated.
will start at 7pm. Because of the wide diversity of entries from clubs and across age groups most clubs will be using different lanes for different warm-ups so I attach a schedule which is the best I can come up with - “flexibility” and “common sense” are the key words here! Unlike last year we haven’t booked the Flexipool for warm-ups during the competition, and following feedback warm-ups will be the normal two way in single lanes.
will start as soon as possible after 7:30pm and is estimated to end shortly after 9pm.
