Christmas Party

07 Dec 2019 (07:00 PM) - 07 Dec 2019 (11:00 PM)
December, 7 2019

So its that time of year where everybody is looking forward to their Christmas Celebrations and Stevenage Swimming Club are no different. The venue is booked, the DJ has been hired, all we need now are the wonderful club members to make it a night to remember.

The party will commence at  7pm  on  Saturday 7th December 2019  at the  Great Ashby Community Centre . The full address of the venue is:

Whitehorse Lane,
SG1 6NH

You do not need to purchase any  tickets to attend this event, there will however be a £1 entry fee on arrival.  If possible please bring your £1 coins with you to save us hunting for change.

There is plenty of parking outside the venue for those who have already decided to drive rather than drink.

As there is no Licensed Bar to purchase any form of drink, we are asking parents to bring their own drinks to consume. Alcohol is permitted to adults only. You may wish to bring snacks to eat during the evening too.
There is a fish and chip shop next to this venue and a Budgen's Supermarket so you can purchase food and drink on the night if you want to leave it until the last minute.  Most people will just bring some crisps and sweets .

There will be an awards ceremony in the middle of the evening, this has been scheduled for 9.00-9.30pm
The trophies which will be handed out will celebrate the swimmers and helpers who have stood out throughout the last year.

The night will end at  11pm  prompt, however people can leave prior to this time if they are ready to go home.
The only thing that we are asking is that everybody takes their rubbish home with them at the end of the night.

Please note that our Christmas Party is only open to club members and their immediate family. Sorry no friends or extended family will be permitted due to the amount of swimmers we have and the size of the venue.

The last couple of years have been a fantastic success and everybody has had a great time, so we hope we can repeat this again.  Also, if you are new to the club we would love to see you there.

Merry Christmas everybody.
