Description

  • Hart SC Autumn L3 Open Meet 2018

  • 26th /27th October 2019

  • 50m, 100m & 200m events in all four strokes, 400m Freestyle & 200m/400m Individual Medley.

  • 9yrs/over - age @ 27th October 2019

  • £6.50 for 50m,100m and 200m events.  400m events are £9.50 (plus £3 admin per swimmer)

  • Upper limit qualifying times apply - swimmers must not enter the individual event if their time is already faster than that stated in the Qualifying Times

  • 1st come 1st serve meet - club entries will be submitted on 15th July 2019

INFORMATION

We will be using both the 8 lane and 4 lane pools for warm up to enable swimmers to have an effective warm up.
 
PARKING
There is free car parking at the leisure centre. Normally you must register your car to park for more than 3 hours and there are notices in the car park stating this – however, the system will be turned off for the duration of the meet and there is no parking time limit. 
 
CHANGING VILLAGE
The changing area is a mixed changing village and open to the public, though there will be no public swimming for the duration of the event. Swimmers are asked to put large bags in the lockers which require a £1 returnable coin. BEFORE entering the changing village everyone is asked to remove their shoes or wear shoe protectors.
 
WITHDRAWALS
The is no sign-in for this meet but any withdrawals must be made prior to warm-up for the session the event is in. This can be done prior to the meet by emailing meetentries@hartsc.org or by handing in a withdrawal form on the day to the control desk on poolside. If you can let us know prior to the meet we’d be very grateful as it helps the smooth running of the day. Please make every effort to notify us of withdrawals as it is unfair for swimmers to have to swim next to an empty lane.
 
PROGRAMMES, RESULTS & AWARDS 
Within the next few days we will circulate an electronic programme for people to print and bring with them if they choose - there will be no programmes available to buy at the meet. 
 
Heat information will be available on Meet Mobile app and results will be posted to this app during the meet - internet connection willing. Results will also be posted on the green board in the foyer and on poolside.
 
The top boy and girl trophies (as detailed in our conditions- based on 50m and 200m results) will be presented at the end of the meet. The top running scores in this competition will be published at the end of each session in the foyer.
 
CAFE & FOOD
There is a cafe at the centre which will be operating a reduced menu to assist with meeting demand. Food should not be eaten by swimmers on poolside - please use the seating area in Fitness Studio 1 or cafe area.
 
SWIM SHOP & SEATING AREA Fastlegs swim shop will be in Fitness Studio 1, on the left just beyond the doors to the pool,  throughout the meet. Seating will also be available in this studio for use by parents and swimmers when not on poolside. 

COACHES / TEAM MANAGERS Requested coach packs will be available to collect from a desk in the foyer. The coach packs will include a poolside seating plan. Food will be provided for coaches / team managers between the sessions. Though there will be a break between sessions, if you wish to bring a tupperware box so that you can collect food and return to poolside with it rather than rushing to eat, then please do so. 

SPECTATING Access to the spectator gallery is up the stairs and along the corridor on the left. Entry is £5 per session or £8 all day (children 16 or under free).

Thank you to those clubs that have already sent details of officials who are able to help at the meet. We would be grateful for any other offers of help from officials which should be sent to meetentries@hartsc.org. Please give name, level, ASA number, club, sessions you can help at and any mentoring requirements. Separate reporting instructions for officials confirming the sessions we have you down for will be sent out prior to the meet.
