The City of Leeds Diving Club is one of the most successful diving clubs in the country. With over a hundred members, with divers ranging from beginners to Olympic athletes. The City of Leeds Diving Club really does provide opportunities for all, and in conjunction with Leeds City Council it has established an Elite Competitive Diving Programme who's success over the years has been proven by producing athletes and coaches who have achieved Junior International representation all the way to Olympic success. Through this success the training scheme has gained status as a:
- Swim England: Talent Development Centre
- British Diving: High Performance Centre
The club has a range of different squads which ensures that every diver reaches their full potential. The goal of our club is to provide every member an opportunity to improved skills and achieve success at all levels The Club itself is run by a committee of devoted parents.
It hosts two major annual competitions; GStar Championships (date TBC) and; The White Rose Diving Invitational (13th/14th Oct 2018). These two events are organised by the elected committee and volunteers. The competitions give divers at all levels the opportunity to experience competitions against other divers from all over Great Britain and beyond.
We are a non-profit club, is run by its elected Committee which meets bi monthly. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities.
