How to join Kettering Amateur Swimming
Please use the "Contact Us" form to
arrange an assessment
Assessments are carried out regularly, usually

Children will need to have reached a minimum of
Stage 7 (passed Stage 6) of Swim England’s Learn To Swim
Pathway in order to join the club, or be of the standard required
to pass this stage.
At the assessment, parents/guardians will

information about their child and contact details.
Children will then be assessed using the
objectives set out for Stage 6 to ensure that they are of this
level. The objectives for the proceeding Stages (7-10) will then be
used to place children into the appropriate squad.
If swimmers meet the objectives for Stage 10
then they will be offered a place in our first Junior
Competitive squad (Competitive 1).
The assessor will then complete the ‘New

swim with the club. The online registration is to be found on the
home page of the website.
All new swimmers will have their attendance

their 3 free sessions. If the online registration has not been
completed by this time then the club will contact parents/guardians
to inform them that this point has been reached and that their
