Summer Term - a few changes and points to note

We hope you had a great Easter break and you are ready for the Summer term – starting this coming week!

A few bits and pieces to note – please read!

Fridays are changing - New session times for all
We have decided to remain at QE Boys on Friday in the long term, rather than moving Learn to Swim back to QE Girls (whenever that re-opens, see update below).  This necessitates making adjustments to the session timings to make Friday's financially viable.
Please be aware of the new times:

Learn to Swim (LTS) either 6.15 or 6.45 sessions
– all existing LTS Friday swimmers have chosen one or other of these sessions and we are able to accommodate everyone’s choice.

Development: 6.15 to 7.15

Juniors            : 7.15 to 9.15
Seniors           : 7.15 to 9.15

Junior & Senior Active:  7.15 to 8.15 (2 lanes)
Adults & Masters         :  8.15 to 9.15 (2 lanes)

All other days remain the same, details can be found here: BPSC Sessions.

Health & Safety Reminder
Under no circumstances should children climb or sit on the balcony wall overlooking the pool.

We are pleased to be able to confirm fees will remain the same for the Summer Term, details of the existing fees can be found here:   BPSC Fees

For those changing squads or attending more often please adjust your monthly amounts as appropriate, any queries please email back to check.

Getting involved
We will be shortly asking for volunteers to get involved with running the club, please look out for the email and consider these opportunities.
Noting that ‘BPSC is a not for profit charitable organisation, run by volunteers with the only paid staff being the poolside coaches. Our aim to provide good value swimming to the local community.’

Without more volunteers the club won’t function!

QE Girls update
We have been notified by QE Girls that they are intending to re-open their pool following replacing the boiler and maintenance works, but we have no dates or further details yet. We will keep you informed.

Have a great term.
