WSSC Galas

Please be advised we have the following competitions coming up in May and June:

The return of the WSSC Home Series will begin on Saturday 21st May at Abbeycroft Leisure Centre, Bury St Edmunds, 3-7pm. This is a level 4 meet for just West Suffolk swimmers - a chance to race for the first time, or update existing times. The programme of events is on the website/OnDeck and entries are now open.  Please enter via the Events page on the website/OnDeck.  Home Series 1 is open to all squads and swimmers with NT (no times).  There are also 25m races and this is for Nemo squad only.  There will be a quick turnaround between events so please consider this when choosing races. Closing date is 14th May. Entry fees are £3 per race.

Sunday 12th June - WSSC Amazing June Meet - Abbeycroft Leisure Centre, Bury St Edmunds- this is a one day, Level 3 meet that WSSC is hosting with other clubs joining us. We will be running all 50's / 100's and 100IM on this day only.  Open to all squads and swimmers with NT's (no times). This is a first come, first served meet, so in order for WSSC to have their entries in first, the closing date to guarantee entry is Wednesday 4th May. All information is on the website/OnDeck and online entry is open. Entry fees are £5 per race. 

Saturday 25th June - WSSC Home Series 2 - Abbeycroft Leisure Centre, Bury St Edmunds, 3-7pm- a level 4 meet just for WSSC swimmers - as per the Home Series 1.  All information is on the events page of website. Online entry for this meet is coming soon - please keep an eye out.  Closing date will be 18th June. Entry fees are £3 per race.

As with all these meets, we always need a team of willing volunteers. Please look out for the job list on the website and sign up for any jobs you think you could help with please.  Please can officials contact [email protected] if you are also able to help. If you are interested in joining the officials team, we are looking for new recruits and this would be a great time to join.
