Swam competitively for 9 years and coaching 6 years.

Why did you get into coaching?

I got into coaching to help out my home club Nuneaton and Bedworth SC after swimming for them. As swimming has always been a big part of my life and I wanted to give something back to the club.

Background/List of achievements past and present:

 

Leicester Penguins:
Year 1, 8 Midland Swimmers 1 British National Swimmer. 
Year 2, 7 Midland Swimmers 1 British and Scottish National Swimmer, 1 English National Swimmer and 1 Open Water National Swimmer.

Rugby SC:
Rugby Council Awards Club of the Year. Achieved 20 Midland Swimmers, 1 British Championships Swimmer and 3 English Nationals Swimmers. 

Aberdeen Performance: 
Helping coach Hannah Miley and other swimmers to British Championships and British Nationals for 2 years. Went on swim camp with the squad to Ostia Italy in July 2018. Also 2 meets abroad to Catalan in Jan 2019 and Barcelona Mare Nostrum Series June 2019

Greatest achievement in swimming/coaching:

Working with Patrick Miley for 2 years and being able to Work with and coach Hannah Miley, helping her towards Bronze Medal at the 2016 European Championships.

Most important piece of advice to a swimmer:

Be a master of your sport.

Other interests/hobbies:

I play the guitar, do triathlons, love watching comedy. Like going to comedy shows and music concerts live.
