Taunton School have launched an initiative to award 75 new Assisted Places by 2020. For many parents, the dream of sending their child to an independent school is out of reach financially. One of Taunton Schools most important aims is to do all it can to provide education for able pupils, whatever the financial circumstances of their family, and Assisted Places are central to achieving that. Taunton School provides two different kinds of financial support, Scholarships and Assisted Places. It is easy to apply for an Assisted Place, as a boarder or day pupil, and many of the schools current and former pupils have benefited from a Taunton School education because of an Assisted Place or Scholarship.
Assisted Places are means-tested financial support. If a child is prepared to demonstrate commitment, aptitude and a desire to learn, Taunton School can help. Opportunities are available for any year group. Scholarships are not means tested and recognise excellence and outstanding ability and are available into Years 7, 9 and Sixth Form.
If you are interested in an Assisted Place or Scholarship or would like to find out more about Taunton School come to our Open Morning on Saturday, September 30th, 9.30-12.30. Register your interest in attending by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01823 703703.
