Confirmed programme of entries for Edinburgh International Meet

EISM will see the best of British Swimming in action against athletes from across Europe including the German national team at Edinburgh’s Royal Commonwealth Pool next month.

As well as the 32 British titles up for contention, many athletes will be looking to hone their race skills and test their arena processes ahead of April’s Commonwealth Games. They will race against Spain’s Olympic champion Mireia Belmonte and a strong German team including Olympian’s Lisa Graf, Christian Diener and Damian Wierling.

Junior swimmers from across Great Britain will also be vying for selection to this summer's European Junior Championships in Helsinki.

Scotland’s capital city will host the meet from the 1-4 March and it will be the final opportunity for fans to see many of Britain’s best including Olympic and World Champion Adam Peaty, World Champion James Guy and Olympic medallist Siobhan-Marie O’Connor in action before they travel to the Gold Coast.

The meet will also see a strong contingent of top class talent from event partner, The University of Edinburgh, including double Olympian Lizzie Simmonds, multiple Welsh record holder Kathryn Greenslade and Scottish Champions Lucy Hope and Corrie Scott.
