CCASA County Relay Championships 2018

On Sunday, it was the Cornwall County ASA Relay Championships in Penzance and wonderful to to see our swimmers aged from 9 to 63, racing together, some for the first time, creating a really special (and loud) atmosphere. Well done to all of the 56 Caradon swimmers who raced today in 28 different team events.

A special mention to Eloise Jones, William Ussher and Francesca Schlussas for competing for the first time, James Hocking for stepping up to swim the butterfly leg for his team and Ellis Baker (aged 11) swimming the 100 backstroke in the 15 & under medley relay.

On top of the great atmosphere we saw some fantastic swims resulting in the following medals:-
  • 16 and over mixed 400 medley - Silver medal for Lily McGowan, Jackson Spry, Isobel Aspen and Samuel Mills-Shute
