Arena B- Final, Cardiff 2018

The trip to Cardiff for the Arena B Final Gala was an amazing experience for the club. Club history was made as it is the first time that Bromley SC has qualified for this gala. What a fitting way to remember the Club’s 120th year!

Bromley came 6th out of the 10 teams and it was a close battle between Thanet, Sevenoaks and Bromley in the placings with Bromley only 7 points behind Thanet who came 4th with Sevenoaks in 5th by only 1 point.

Results from both the B- Final and Cup Final are below:

If you have seen photos from the gala you may have noticed the new club banners in the background, flags and tattoos proudly on display.

They are displaying for the first time a new club supporters’ logo and we are very grateful to Linda and Pete Straupenieks for their work and time in the design of this logo.

A special thank you to Rae for making the badger badges that were given to swimmers participating in Cardiff.

Bromley SC did a great job competing for the Best Supporters’ Award and the support from the parents and families was fantastic! Bromley supporters definitely had the most fun!

The trip up to Cardiff was a great experience for the swimmers and families who attended - it would not have been possible without the team work going on behind the scenes and a huge thank you to all the parents who were involved.

A special thank you to those families who travelled to Cardiff to support the team.

Thank you to the Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach, Dave and Emily, for all their hard work in preparing the team for the gala - the team performed brilliantly and did themselves and the club proud! This gala was not just special for the current club members but also for the club members from past Arena Leagues whose hard work and team spirit helped the club move up the rankings.
