“If you want to be the best, you have to do things other people aren’t willing to do”
Message from Head Coach
We kicked off this season’s competition calendar on a very positive note with a Team Selection meet verses Cranleigh Swim Club and Wey Valley Swim Club which was held at Cranleigh Leisure Centre Saturday evening, September 8th.
After a slow start and a couple of disqualifications FSC bounced back in fine style! Many surprising times were set at such an early season meet with some swimmers posting personal best times! If this is a taste of how the season is going to be we are all in store for a very exciting season indeed!!
At the conclusion of the evening FSC ended up victorious in the overall category of girls and boys combined, first place in the boy’s category and a very close second place in the girl’s category.
Great start to the season! let’s all keep working hard and supporting each other to have another super competitive season of swimming!!!
Message From Chairman
An exciting start to the swimming year! I watched quite a few sessions across our squads and I have to say that its great to see all swimmers enjoying, working hard and having fun. Coaches are really pleased with the effort so far and the year seems like it will be a really exciting one! We also have quite a few new swimmers joining our non-competitive and competitive squads in September and October, so please do reach out to introduce yourselves and I am sure we will all do our best to make them feel welcome to our Club! I wish everyone a healthy, fun and successful swimming season!
