There are 100m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, 100m Butterfly and 100m Breaststroke events for each age group with one swimmer competing from each county.  There are also 4x50m Medley Relays held for each age group and one Mixed 6x50m Freestyle Relay. The mixed relay consisting of teams made up of one boy and one girl from each age group

The weekend got off to a tricky start with a crash on the M1 delaying us for a number of hours and meaning that we missed our regular training session at Loughborough.  Despite this, the team arrived in good spirit and after dinner managed our compulsory team quiz.

Racing commenced on Sunday with many of the team swimming huge PBs and make considerable improvements to their entry ranking.  What was more impressive was that many of the team were swimming at the bottom of the age group.  Out of the 24 individual races, 16 were PBs, an excellent return considering how early in the season we are.
