Over the school half term holidays, Emily, Grace and Keren attended two days at The County Development Camp. Places on the camp were offered based on performances at County Championships this year and another day was held in April.
Feedback from the course manager was:
Overall the camp was a success. Swimmers from all NASA county clubs were engaged and focussed really well on tasks in the gym, classroom and pool. The camp had a big technique focus with swimmers slowing strokes down in the pool and making sure they were feeling the water and focussing on efficiency of strokes. All Swimmers were advised to write down what they had learned and worked on and then feed this information back to their home coaches. All coaches on the camp had input into the sessions which allowed everyone to be involved whilst following the session aims and objectives. We talked al lot about the processes needed both in and out of the pool to progress to the next level of the sport.
Congratulations Emily, Grace and Keren - Keep up the great work!
