MCASA are using the call room for marshalling for heats and finals.  Please note swimmers will need to report there when their races are called and remain there until they are sent to the start. There are marshals in the room that swimmers must report to.  We hope the coaches will help ensure this runs smoothly.

MCASA have been asked to ensure we do not damage the TV screens in the call room so please ensure swimmers do not touch them.

There will be a swim down facility in the diving pit both days after 2pm.  MIDDX were unable to get any space for swim down any earlier.  Please do not use the public pool as it has lessons all morning and the remaining few lanes are for public swimming.

Once again, MIDDX will not be selling programmes so please remember to remind Spectators and Coaches to bring a copy with them.  It will be available to download from the website one week prior to the start of the Championships.

Swimmers needs to be prompt for presentations and ensure they are dressed appropriately. Medallists will also be required to report to the call room and names will be announced as swimmers receive their medals and trophies. There will be an official photographer from DE Photos to take these presentation and photos taken can be purchased at the store which will be set up in the Gallery or after the competition by going to the Middx website and follow the link.

There will be no separate warm up for the 800m and 1500m, it will run straight through as it is ONE session, the long distances are NOT separate sessions. Event 101 to 104 and Event 501 to 504 - straight through. So warm up for the 1500 will be the warmup of the morning of Session 1 and for 800 warmup of Session 5.

With regards to those rejected from the 800m and 1500m, anyone wishing to be considered to swim from the rejection list must sign in their name on the 'Back fill' sheet and to be fair to all clubs the sheet will be available for signing on the warm up of the session in which the event will be swum. The names will be worked from a 1st come 1st serve bases.  ANY back fill will be totally dependent on the withdrawals received so there is no guarantee there will be spaces.

Please note 800m and 1500m swimmers will require to sign in for their events. Any not signed in will be presumed to have opted not swimming and their places will be given to any rejected swimmers who have signed into the Back Fill sheet. Sign in for both the racing AND the 'BACK FILL' Sheet will close at 8:40am.

Warm up starts at 8.15am.  Swimmers and Spectators will be given access to the pool through the lower level doors , Swimmers at 7:40am and Spectators at 8am.

Please note the following request below from the LAC.
