The Tornadoes of South Dorset are extremely proud to once again be SwimMark accredited.
Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. They help people to learn how to swim, enjoy the water, and compete in our sports of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.
Formerly called swim21, SwimMark accreditation is Swim England's quality standard for clubs. It recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness. It recognises good governance and effective, ethical and sustainable club development and growth. Clubs which have achieved SwimMark standards also automatically receive Sport England's Clubmark status.
We look forward to seeing all of our swimmers back with the club once this difficult time is over and welcoming some new swimmers into the club. Swimming is a great low impact sport and is a fantastic way to build your fitness back up. We hope you are all staying safe and well.
The Tornadoes of South Dorset offer lessons to swimmers of school age upwards to progression from regular lessons to thriving at competitions. If you are interested in joining the club please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or 07776329272.
