Swim Wales Winter Championships 2018
Caradon's first trip to a Welsh National meet took place over the weekend of 30th November - 2nd December at the Welsh National Pool, Swansea which saw three swimmers qualify for the National standard for their very first time. 
 
The Welsh Winter Championship topped a fantastic weekend for Team Caradon which saw our swimmers rise to the occasion and record some big personal bests.
 
Olivia Shute
50m Butterfly = 0.69 second PB
50m Breaststroke = 0.67 second PB
 
Kate Daniel 
50m Backstroke    = 0.79 second PB
50m Freestyle   =  0.44 second PB
 
Oliver Naylor
50 Butterfly = 0.44 second PB
50 Backstroke  = 0.72 second PB
50 Breaststroke  = 0.80 second PB
 
Oliver also narrowly missed out on his PB in the 50m Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 100m Backstroke and 200m Freestyle.
 
A fantastic first Welsh National event for all three swimmers topped off by Oliver Naylor reaching the clubs first National final in the 50m Butterfly, finishing 5th in the final. 
 
Well done Olivia, Katie and Oliver. All 3 swimmers will now be aiming to qualify for the Welsh Summer Nationals in July/August 2019.
