Smiling, Winning and Following the Process

It was another successful evening at the Club's annual presentation evening, last night (Saturday 23rd February).

Our Head Coach, Pat, hosted the evening and shared the fantastic results achieved by the club throught the 2018 swimming  year. Some amazing statistics including; 

  • 56 swimmers achieved County times 
  • 63 places in the County Championship finals 
  • 13 medals at the County Championships
  • 21 Regional times and consideration times 

In addition to individual success, the Club have won two meets so far, out of two, in the Cotswold league event where 90% of the swims were PB's. The Club also won the Mini Series overall in 2018. So well done to all swimmers, coaches, volunteers and parents for a fantastic 2018. 

In addition to age groups winners, there were some special awards for the evening, including some new trophies which celebrate special achievements, hard work and dedication.

  • JCS  Swimmer of the Year - Milly Elliot 
  • Senior Skills Swimmer of the Year - Fraser Hinds 
  • SCS Swimmer of the Year - Erica Godfrey 
  • Perfomance Swimmer of the Year - Giselle Fitton 
  • Club Person of the Year - Paul Chambers
  • Andy Nichol Volunteer of the Year - Kate Ledward

And finally, we welcomed four new club captains for 2019;
