Tring Swim Club Sponsors and Partners
Coronavirus - Latest Update

Following the latest  announcements from the Government and Swim England, please read the following carefully. Swim England has advised that “At present the Government has not closed schools or restricted school activity and therefore we do not see any reason why clubs should not continue with their training programmes in their own environment within the guidelines of the facility.

In addition to the  information we sent out yesterday:
Anyone with a new persistent cough/temperature should not train.
Swimmers should shower on arrival and after swimming.
We would strongly recommend the following:
Do not attend training if you fall into one of the high risk groups.
  • These are clearly explained here on the website. Please review the information carefully and make your own risk assessment. If in doubt, don’t train.
  • T he evidence so far suggests children are in the lowest risk category. Masters should make their own risk assessment before attending training.
Avoid the gallery and waiting in the corridor.
  • It is OK to drop and go.
Swim England has cancelled all competitions organised by the national governing body that are scheduled to be held between now and the end of May.
We are expecting the Regional organisations to act in a similar  fashion. This is likely to impact the final round of Herts Major. As soon as we hear anything we will let you  know.
We will continue to review the situation and keep you informed as things develop.
Many thanks for your patience and understanding in these difficult times.
