Just to wish you all a happy new year and hope you are recovering from the excesses of the last week.  Training resumes this Sunday and I hope you are all refreshed and eager to prepare for counties.

A reminder that if any eligible swimmers would like to apply for the role in the new Marvel film they can still do so by sending an email to  casting@4windmillstreet.com detailing their child’s full name, age and height, along with a photo too. Any relevant information about swimming/acting experience is also appreciated.

Please refer to the team list attached and ensure you have confirmed attendance (those in red are still outstanding), by ticking or crossing off your name on the gallery board, or emailing me directly. Raffle prizes are also needed so please donate any items suitable for raffle. They can be passed to me on poolside over the next week or left behind reception. Any items available would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if there are any questions.

Entry Forms - Meets 2016:

As previously communicated, we have 3 open meet entries currently open with the return dates of January 10th. These meets offer a great opportunity for nearly all ASC swimmers to compete but please ensure you are entering the correct meets by following the information below. Please talk to you coaches if you have any questions.

Aqua Sulis (27/28 feb) - a meet for PE & CD swimmers that meet the qualifying times. No swimmer of 12 and younger (on the 23rd April) should enter this event as the TVL is held on the Saturday evening.

Wycombe (12/13th march) - a meet for all PE swimmers and any CD that meet the qualifying times. For all other swimmers, please see the meet below.

Basildon (12/13 March) - a meet for all swimmers of 9 years and over (on the 13th march) and that aren't competing at Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to begin competing again after counties, with a range of events offered suitable for those from Academy to CD.

Please talk to you coaches if you have any questions. All entry forms must be posted in the entry form box upstairs by Sunday 10th January 2016.

Training - January 2016:

Training returns to normal from Sunday 4th January. CD2 morning training therefore resumes on Tuesday 5th, 6-7am

Hillingdon training for CD1&2 will now be the first Thursday every month, we therefore return on Thursday 7th January, 5.45-6.45am.

York House

Parents who go to York House will know that there is repair work taking place on the car park near the pool. The school has contacted us about an incident on the last Wednesday the club were swimming as some of the new surface was damaged. Please can all parents be extra careful when driving in and out of the car park particularly as access is more difficult. Thank you.
