Head Coach Report:

I am very encouraged by the efforts and attendance from every FSC swimmer who participated in the P.R.I.D.E Test Sets.  Its GREAT to see that everyone of you brings their 'A' game in trying your very best to achieve the highest levels possible and many of you were able to achieve Level 5!

A massive  WELL DONE!

The Haslemere Open Meet on the 24th saw the largest number of FSC swimmers attend an open meet since my arrival to the club of Aug 2013!  It was such a pleasure for me to be poolside with a quality group of positive, motivated and happy swimmers!

And the results reflected just that, FSC had to many fantastic performances to list here in the newsletter!  Many 'first time' competitors came away with a medal or two and the more seasoned swimmers posted some very impressive PB's!  Well Done!

I cannot congratulate all of you enough!  It was a tremendous team effort not only from our swimmers but all of the parents who helped make the day of racing a great success.  A special thank you to our team managers and officials who volunteered.

On that note I'm really looking forward to the Cranleigh Open Meet Sunday, May 8th! GO FSC!!

Keep up the great work!

Coach Martin

Social Committee

We have received some great suggestions from parents of swimmers at the Club and, following these, we are hoping to increase the social aspects of the Club for all members by the addition of new social events including some fundraising activities as well as activities based on the children.

We have established a social committee to co-ordinate and manage this and they met for the first time last week. Numbers were low so if you are interested in supporting this please contact Nicola Douglas ([email protected])
