Head Coach Appointed

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Taylor as the new Head Coach of Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club with effect from 4 December 2017.

Adam has most recently been the Head Coach at Team Luton Swimming Club where he established a clear performance pathway for the swimmers increasing the number of youth national swimmers with all of the 2017 British and English Summer Champs competitors making it to finals.  In addition, Luton had 8 masters swimmers attend Nationals with an impressive thirty top 10 finishes and 3 records set.  Prior to Luton, Adam was Head National Age Group Coach at City of Birmingham from 2010-2016 where he produced national champions that went on to qualify for European and International teams.

Adam is a UKCC Level 3 qualified coach who supplemented his education last summer with a trip to Australia to learn new training techniques.  In addition to his Head Coach responsibilities, Adam has also been selected as a member of the coaching staff for the England Talent Programme each year since 2011, and he is part of a mentoring programme for coaches as well.

Adam is looking forward to joining Camden at this exciting time in our history and to working with our fantastic coaching team that recently has led our youth swimmers in qualifying for the National Junior Inter-League final and finishing first in round one of the Arena League.  Adam also looks forward to assisting our Masters and Club swimmers in achieving their best.

Adam will be holding individual squad meetings with all squads over the month of December.  He will also be in the viewing gallery at Swiss Cottage on Thursday, 16 November from 5:30 – 6:30 pm for an informal meet and greet.  Please stop by to welcome our new Head Coach if your schedule permits.  Otherwise, look for notices regarding December squad meetings.

We welcome Adam to the Club and very much look forward to working with him.
