Have a great Christmas!

Message from Head Coach

November was a very busy month for competitions!

The month began with a full day of swimming at the Herons Pool in Haslemere. FSC had a large contingent of swimmers and earned plenty of medals and lots of personal best times were recorded.  It was especially good to see many swimmers poolside cheering on and supporting their team mates.  FSC really showed the team spirit that makes our team so special!  Well done to all of the swimmers and parent supporters!

The following weekend the team travelled back to the Hart pool for the second round of the Arena league gala. With some very spirited swims FSC finished runners up in a very competitive gala. This team effort sealed our place in the top gala for the final round December 9th. A BIG well done FSC!

The following weekend was the final gala of this year's club championships. Competing swimmers tackled the demanding distance events 400m, 800m and 1500m.  Some very good results were achieved by the swimmers competing.

To conclude the month,  a full weekend of swimming was held in Horsham at the Atlantis open meet. FSC were represented by a large group and showed very well amongst some very tough competition. Many county qualifying times were achieved as well as medals won.

Overall November proved to be a great month for fast swimming!  Let's continue the trend for December and gain some more of those county qualifying times as well as a successful showing in the final round of the Arena league gala!!

Some people still have not updated their standing orders from September changes. They are all small amounts but this will build up over time – further emails will be going out soon.
