21 February 2018
We are now taking part in a new Jack Petchey Foundation Award called the Leader Award, which not only allows us to celebrate once a year an adult who has had a significant impact on the club by encouraging and motivating our 11 to 25 year old swimmers, but also enables us to gain access to a grant of £750.
We would like all swimmers aged 11 to 25 years old to nominate an adult over 21 who works at CSCSC who they think should receive the Jack Petchey Leader Award.
This award can be awarded to any of the following:
Volunteers: committee members, judges, team managers etc
Administrative team in the CSCSC office
The winner needs to have been working or volunteering at the club for over a year; so please do not vote for the Head Coach on this occasion.
The Jack Petchey Leader Award
The Jack Petchey Foundation realises that lots of the great work, projects and schemes that young people are able to access and participate in, would simply not be possible without the support of their adult leaders. In recognising this we created the Leader Award – a chance for young people themselves to recognise their leaders, the ones that inspire and support them – and say thank you.
Adults who receive the Leader Award will be honoured at a Jack Petchey Foundation celebration event with a certificate and medallion.
In addition, by participating in this scheme, your organisation will be offered the opportunity to apply for a small grant once a year.
