Farnham Swimming Club announces Sean Bailey as Academy and County Development Coordination Coach. Coach Bailey is joining FSC from Rushmoor Royals, where he held the Club Head Coach position for the past six years. Coach Bailey has over eighteen years of experience in swim coaching to an elite level at two high-performance swimming clubs as an ASA UKCC Level 3 Performance Coach. He has led swimmers' successses at multiple levels including International, British Championship, National, Regional and County competitions. He has also led teams to National Arena League finals while, at the same time, has designed and delivered successful teaching academy programmes for young swimmers. He will initially take ownership of FSC's county development squads, working alongside head coach Martin Edwards and Regional coach Richard Reed.
Coach Bailey quoted: "I am delighted to accept the position of Academy and County Development Coordination Coach at Farnham Swimming Club. I look forward to meeting the coaching staff, swimmers and Club committee members. I am very excited to be part of the programme as the club continues to progress and develop. This position will allow me to spend more time with my family whilst enjoying doing what I love most – coaching. I also look forward to future prospects within the club over the coming years. Exciting times ahead for me and all at FSC!".
