Congratulations to Lead Coach & masters swimmer Lucy Gale on her new appointment as lead coach of Scotland’s leading & most successful Age Group & Youth program, at Edingburgh Warrender Swimming Club. Lucy will be leaving us for the time being, to do her masters in Carbon Management at the University of Edingburgh.
Lucy devoted many voluntary hours at the club working with the Performance Gold & Silver programs, whilst also training and competing to a National standard as a Masters swimmer. Lucy demonstrates a superb proactive attitude, desire to learn & develop, & ever improving technical coaching ability. These qualities will stand her in good stead as she looks to progress her coaching further.
Lucy, we thank-you for your time, commitment & unwavering dedication in your role as Lead Coach of the Competitive Gold program at Boldmere Swimming Club. Your high quality of coaching has greatly benefited the swimmers, and has established important fundamentals to enable them to further develop into the 2019/20 season.
