Camden come 3rd at the National Junior Inter-League Final
30 of Camden’s young stars travelled to Corby to compete against the best UK has to offer. We came away with a valiant 3rd place finish behind City of Leeds and Guildford for the second year running. The club is hugely proud of our junior swimmers and the coaches who work so hard to prepare them for such an occasion.
Well done to all who represented CSCSC so well.
Camden qualifies for the National Arena ‘B’ Final for 3rd consecutive season
Next month a
large contingent of Camden swimmers travel to Cardiff to showcase
their competitive spirit against some of the UKs most renowned
swimming programmes in what will be a closely fought and high
energy contest.
London Winter Regional Championships
Camden continue to show their dominance in the London Region, all qualified swimmers added to us coming away with Top Club. 11 Gold, 8 Silver and 7 Bronze medals were collected during the Championships a big improvement from 2018. Well done team!
Swim England Winter Nationals
Congratulations to Jackson Olin, Donatas Dragasius, Anna Podurgiel, Lauren Brantley and Alexis Lambropoulos on qualifying for Winter Nationals. All swimmers excelled coming away with numerous PB swims.
Jackson broke a 10-year-old County and Regional record in the 200 Backstroke in a time of 1.59.50 – way to go dude!

Performance Gold take on the best in the world in Luxembourg
13 swimmers from Performance Gold travelled to Luxembourg for the prestigious ‘Euro Meet’. The meet was host to 750 swimmers from 29 nations, including 20 World and Olympic Medallists. It proved to be an amazing experience for everyone with plenty of opportunities to mix and learn from the best, Anna Podurgiel even got to race current Olympic Champions Katinka Hosszu in the 200 IM.
Notable results include; Donatas Dragasius came away with medals in the 200 Backstroke and 200 IM and Anna Podurgiel came away with a new Olympic Trials cut in the 200 Freestyle.
London Region International Team trip to Barcelona
Camden are proud to have 6 swimmers selected by London Region to compete at an International competition in Barcelona from 13th-16th March. Adam Taylor and Alexandru Coci have been asked to attend as part of the coaching staff for the team. A big well done to Anna Podurgiel, Lauren Brantley, Alexis Lambropoulos, Amir Castronovo, Donatas Dragasius and Jackson Olin on a well-earned opportunity! We are all very proud.
Gaurika Singh makes 2nd Olympic Games!
Congratulations to Gaurika Singh of Performance Gold who has qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games as part of the Nepalese team. Gaurika looks to build on her previous experience at Rio 2016 and continue her progress. Way to go Gaurika, all of us here at Camden are very proud of you.
