Further to the government announcement yesterday and a British Swimming/Swim England meeting we have further information to provide all members.
Competitions
A number of competitions have now been cancelled due to the advice that mass gatherings are not advisable during this outbreak. As such the competitions below that the club was participating are now cancelled or postponed.

Training
As per our governing body Swim England's advice we are still continuing with training as of today but we will be reviewing this on a day by day basis depending on the advice we are given. Please note they are having a further board meeting this afternoon so we will know more this evening.
We would ask all members to take extra care and to follow NHS guidelines washing your hands frequently, showering before and after entering the water. The leisure centres are taking up more stringent cleaning protocols during the outbreak also.
