DUCK RACE RESULTS 2020

Thank you so much to all our members who supported the Duck Race on Saturday.

We sold 1100 ducks and raised £2,200 for the club. We had perfect weather for duck racing - the water was overflowing and the organisers who were there got well and truly wet!

With the aim not to attract a group watching we moved the race into Sutton Park into what is normally quite a quiet and shallow stretch of water but at 5.15 pm on Saturday it was raining heavily, and the water was deep and running well.

Although it was not quite the duck festival that we intended when planning took place in warmer and sunnier July - we thank everyone for their contributions and hope you enjoy the video clip and power point photos.

Congratulations to the lucky duck owners who have won the following prizes and a huge thank you to Geoff for organising the race.
