Meet the Coaches


 Jamie Evans - Head Coach (Working with Elite and Development Squads).

Jamie joined the coaching team in 2013 and since then has worked with various COLSC squads as well as being involved in the England Talent Phase 1 & 2 Swim Camps and the ASSE programme. 

In 2016 he became COLSC Head Coach and since then he has seen club members swim in National and Regional meets with multiple swimmers competing in finals and taking  podium finishes. During his first year as Head Coach 4 swimmers have also reached international level.



Rob Vaughan - Age Group Coach (Working with National Age Group and Regional 1 Squads)

Rob began working with CoL in 2015 and joined full time in January 2016. Since then he has worked with Age Group swimmers from County to National level taking multiple swimmers to British/English Summer Championships with some going on to achieve finals and medals. For the 2017/18 season Rob has gone on to coach as part of the England Programmes Phase 1 Camps.

Cati Arasa - Assistant Coach (Working with Performance and Regional 2 Squads)

Cati grew up in Spain and moved to the UK in 2015. Cati joined the COLSC coaching team in May 2017 previous to this she has spent time coaching in Scotland with Warrender Bath SC. In her first few month with COLSC she has worked with Performance, Regional 2 and Development squads,

For the 2017-2018 season, she will be responsible for Performance and Regional 2 squads and will also take part as a coach in the England Talent Phase 1 Swim Camps.


Alison McCallister - Assistant Coach (Working with Development and Regional Squads)

Alison developed a passion for swim coaching whilst her children were training at their local base club.  She joined the COLSC coaching team in December 2015 after having volunteered with the delivery of the Development Programme throughout the previous season.  
Alison is currently a L2 coach as well as a licensed judge at J2 level.  Outside of swimming Alison has worked as a science teacher for over 20 years and currently teaches A level physics to students at two secondary schools in Northamptonshire.
