Gary Inch – Head Coach
My competitive sport was marathon Kayak racing, I also enjoyed white water canoe and Kayaking mainly in Europe and Britain. I played canoe polo for many years and progressed into teaching and coaching helping others to learn the skills of the sport I loved.
I started teaching swimming when my daughter and son started at a young age some 24 years ago.
Since then I have gained experience through the years and helped our local pool operators Vision Leisure and Culture develop their teaching programme.
I work closely with London Schools Swimming Association and am the lead coach, taking London Division to two national championships. I have worked closely with other head coaches in Essex on training camps and was selected to be one of the lead coaches for 2013/14 at the training camps run by the county.
Over the years I have produced many county and regional champions, along with taking swimmers to the national championships representing Redbridge.
My objective is to encourage swimmers to change their mind set, believe in themselves, looking for continued improvement.
My motto: “winners never quit and quitters never win”.

Charlie Dentith – Assistant Coach (B Squad)
Swimming was always my main sport. I swam competitively for over 10 years, holding many county records and making nationals every year from the age of 11. At national level I qualified for many finals and achieved top 5 placings. My highest achievement was competing internationally and being ranked in the top 5 in European for 17/18 year olds. After being chosen for a lot of camps and squads I feel I have learnt a lot of different training styles and I can incorporate a lot of methods I’ve learnt to make training more enjoyable and interesting. Because I have recently had these experiences, I can adapt and understand where the swimmers coming from and how to get through to them. I believe having a good relationship with the swimmers is the key to them being successful.
