In preparation for the weekend, set out below are some final details relating to the meet this weekend.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE POOL ACCESS ON SUNDAY

The Xcel Centre have informed us that they have swimming lessons in the Teaching Pool on Sunday until midday on Sunday, 16^th January.  As a result, they have requested that, on arrival on the Sunday, swimmers go to the Main Hall opposite the Changing Rooms rather than going poolside.  As Warm Up starts in the main pool at 11.30 a.m., swimmers will be marshalled from the Hall for their relevant warm up session.  After 12 noon, swimmers will be permitted to take their place poolside for the rest of the day.

SPECTATING - Online registration and Fees

Spectators will be permitted at the event.  The Entrance fees are as follows:-

£5.00 for one session per day

£8.00 for both sessions on one day

When you click on the link to book your sessions you will be prompted to Login and an Amazon, Facebook and Google option will be displayed.  If you have an account with either Amazon, Facebook or Google, just select one of these options, and you will automatically be logged into our online booking system and this will allow us to send you an e-mail receipt containing an order number and details of your booking.

Please show your receipt containing the booking number to the staff at the Entrance Desk to the Viewing Gallery and they will issue you with the correct wristband for your session/s.

Please note online booking closes:-

1.  Saturday - At 11.00 a.m. on 15^th January for Saturday’s sessions; and

2.  Sunday - At 10.15 a.m. on 16^th January for Sunday's sessions.

For those not wishing to pay online, we will still be taking cash but are unable to offer the facility to pay by card on the door due to WiFi issues.  As a result, cash is the only payment option on the door.

PROGRAMMES

As stated in the Promoter’s Conditions, there will no printed programmes available on the door.  Online copies are available and these can be accessed and downloaded prior to the meet using the links below:-

Please be aware that any late entries will not appear in the Programmes.

COVID

Our Covid Procedures are set out in the document attached to this e-mail.

CHANGING FACILITIES

Whilst the Changing Rooms will be available for use, the Xcel Centre have requested that swimmers turn up "pool ready" so the changing facilities are available to their swimmers who will need to get changed after their swimming lessons which take place prior to our gala starting.
 

TIME TRIALS

Time Trials may be available on the day but this will be entirely dependent upon a space being available in an existing heat.  The Time Trials desk is located at the Entrance to the Viewing Gallery.  Time trials for all 50m, 100m and 200m events cost £7.50 whilst time trials for 400m events cost £8.50
