Fees are calculated over the Swimming Year and then divided equally over 12 months. When calculating the new fees, we have already taken into account summer shutdowns, a reduced time table during Christmas, Easter and part of the summer. We try our best not to cancel any sessions, as these cannot be easily replaced, but sometimes this is outside of our control. In such instances, we will notify everyone affected via email. We will only contact you via text messages or phone calls in case of emergency.
15+ year olds at end of year
Must hold either a RQT (Regional Qualifying Time) obtained by 31st December 2019. However space permitting, swimmers that hold two times that are within 5% of RCT’s (Regional Consideration Time) and are able to meet the training criteria, may be given the opportunity to train with the above squad at the coaches discretion but will be very closely monitored
Must attend a minimum of 7 out of 10 pool sessions per week (18 Y/O & over number of sessions to be discusses with head coach – Same as those in lead up to GCSE’s & A Levels)
Must attend each of the land sessions scheduled per week
Must be on poolside 15 minutes, before sessions and competition warm ups, to complete pre-pool warm ups (details of which to be made available on laminates & where necessary will be coach led at the start of each session)
Any swimmers arriving later than 10 minutes than the scheduled start time of each of the pool sessions will not be permitted to swim. Swimmers are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to complete a warm up landside (unless reason is communicated in ample time to the squad coach, prior to the session) and therefore any more than 10 minutes after scheduled start time means the swimmer would be 25 minutes late.
Must complete all sessions appropriately (all members in this squad are required to complete all sets to the best of their ability – to include all warm ups and swim downs). Should swimmers be identified as frequently leaving sessions mid-set or earlier, this will be flagged as a cause for concern and will reviewed by the Head Coach to assess the swimmer’s suitability to remain in the squad
Must remain after all sessions for 10 minutes, to complete post pool stretches.
Must attend all stated competitions specific to the squad – with a minimum of 7 external competitions, excluding County / Region / Club events. During the season’s race calendar, the swimmers are expected to compete in County / Region / Club events
Must hold all kit expected of the squad – (Kit lists to follow)
Must be able to hold 30 x 100’s of 1.25/1.30 as a minimum, age dependant
Must be able to swim 10m for the underwater phase of all strokes as a minimum
Must notify the squad coach of any lengthy periods of absence due to injury/illness
