Attendance

  • Swimmers can attend 4, 5 or 6 sessions per week in agreement with the head coach based on their training aims and form events

  • Swimmers must attend all target open meets as agreed by the head coach and support all Black Swan Club events

Long Term Athlete Development Stage:Train to Win

Age Range: Male / Female 18 years and over 

Development Phase: Specialization, event performance

Typical Weekly Training Volume: Depends on swimmer and individual specialty

Progressions: Emphasis on individualisation of fitness, power, endurance, skill and technical training, shoulder, elbow core, spine and ankle stability, refinement of specific technical skills (starts, turns, finishes, transitions), fundamental tactical preparation and individual mental preparation. Peak strength development for peak performance.

Swim Specific: Enhanced execution, performance and power on form events. Performance orientated swimming goals.

About: Swimmers are able to train up to six times a week in Elite Masters, flexibility is offered to allow for work commitments and or study. Individual training programs are agreed with the Head Coach. Swimmers need to maintain regional standard swimming to be considered for this squad. 

Training Fees:

Monthly Training Fees for Elite Masters 

4 Sessions per week £55 per month

5 Sessions per week £60 per month

6 Sessions per week £65 per month

 

Annual subscription is £65.00 inclusive of ASA registration fee (payable by end of March each year)
