Wycombe District Swimming Club is a fully accredited club under the ASA’s aquatic quality mark Swim 21 Club.
Swim 21 Club sets down standards in a wide range of areas which clubs must demonstrate compliance with before receiving the accreditation mark. The high standards required under Swim 21 are designed to help clubs grow their membership, develop skills among volunteers, improve health & safety and ensure their activity is sustainable in terms of a club’s objectives.
Importantly, it is also designed to ensure the best coaching standards and to encourage swimmers to achieve their highest performance potential, thus increasing the success of swimming as a sport across the UK. All Swim 21 Club accredited clubs are automatically awarded Sport England’s Clubmark accreditation, which recognises high quality sporting organisations.
The Clubmark shows that a club provides an environment that ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives.
A Clubmark accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they’re choosing the right club for their young people.
