Do you enjoy swimming? Would you like to swim more?
Chalfont Otters Swimming Club are always on the lookout for swimmers who are interested in joining their local Swimming Club.
We are a local competitive amateur swimming club. It is supported via subscription fees, a highly qualified coaching team and volunteer committee members. Established in 1978, it continues to go from strength to strength with over 300 swimmers. In the past two years, we are very proud to have had several national swimmers and national champions. Our junior squads also comprise some of the top swimmers in the country and many have leading regional and county times.
As part of the local community, we would like to assist pupils at local schools to improve their swimming ability and get a taster of what club swimming is like. We have had a number of swimmers join the club via this pathway and move on to swim at all competitive levels. We are therefore inviting swimmers to become part of the club through this route.
We generally hold assessments once a month at Maltman’s Green School, Maltmans Lane, Gerrards Cross, SL9 8RR.
If you are unavailable on the date and time provided, we may be able to organise an alternative time. If you are interested but are nervous about the idea of an assessment, you are welcome take this opportunity to watch and get an idea of what is involved.
Minimum ability level
