Squads

Advanced Teaching 3, 2, 1 (<11years)

Advanced stroke technique and skill development in our larger pools twice each week. Swimmers will have their first opportunities to compete at the age of 9 and above.

C Squad (<12years)

The first of our training squads, swimmers continue stroke and skill development within training sets. Swimmers will compete individually and represent the club at this level.

B Squad Age (<13years)

The second training squad will progressively increasing the training intensity within sessions. Swimmers compete individually and represent the club at this level.

A Squad (13+years)

The fourth and final training squad with swimmers up to a national level training to a high standard. Swimmers compete individually and represent the club at this level.

Elite 4 (<10years)

A squad for swimmers who reached the required standard to progress to Squad level and are 9 years old or younger. This squad allows age specific training and technique improvement.

Elite 3 (<12years)

A squad for swimmers who reached the required standard to progress to Squad level and are 9 years old or younger. This squad allows age specific training and technique improvement.

Elite 2 (Girls<13years, Boys<14years)

Elite 2 allows the most talented and dedicated age group (girls <13, boys <14) swimmers the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Swimmers at this level will train most days and compete up to a National level.

Elite 1

Elite 1 allows the most talented and dedicated age group and youth swimmers the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Swimmers at this level will train most days and compete up to a National level.

Junior & Senior Development

Advanced stroke technique and skill development, allowing swimmers who want to train for fitness three times each week, the opportunity to be involved in structured sessions with qualified coaches. Swimmers will have opportunities to compete and represent the club in various league galas and open meets if they so wish.

Masters

Masters swimming is for our adult (16yrs+) members to train, socialise and compete if they want to. Sessions will be geared around fitness and competition skills. 

Fitness Section

The fitness section allows swimmers who want to train for fitness one or two times each week, the opportunity to be involved in structured sessions with qualified coaches at Spelthorne, Sunbury or SJB.
