City of Milton Keynes Water Polo Team is a friendly team that trains twice a week at Stantonbury Campus. We are currently playing friendlies but plan to join a local league for the 2013 season. We are looking for people over the age of 18 to join and start training. From newbies to long time returners, you are welcome along. Our main session is at Stantonbury Campus Leisure Centre on Thursdays; 8:30pm ’til 10pm. The pool is 6 lanes by 25m long, 2.0m deep going down to the shallow end at 1.1m. Your kit can be brought onto poolside although lockers are provided. Club members are also invited to the Bedfordshire Lions Monday night session at Inspire Pool, Luton.

Who do I contact?
What standard do I need to be?
All standards are welcome over the age of 18 years. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to return after a long break you will be welcome. You’ll need to be able to swim lengths for about half an hour and be comfortable with some contact while playing games.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are a ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ arrangement; about £3, payable to the reception on entering the leisure centre. To join local league you will need to become a member of CMKSC and pay the necessary ASA fees.
Do I have to compete?
Not if you don’t want to; however if you want to join in we play regular friendlies and plan to play in the local league.

Junior Water Polo Starting in Milton Keynes on 4th October 2018 !
On Thursday 4 October, a junior session will start. Players will learn new aquatic skills within the sport of Water Polo, whist at the same time improving their stroke technique and swimming stamina. All boys and girls 12 years of age and older are invited to come and try out this sport, but must be able to swim a minimum of 100 metres and be confident in deep water. The junior session will run from 8:30-9:00 pm every Thursday at Stantonbury Campus Leisure Centre. Coaching shall be led by several of our senior players who have many years of different experiences behind them. Girls should wear a one-piece costume and boys should wear trunks rather than shorts.
