Vacancy: Age Group Performance Coach
Elmbridge Phoenix is a small, friendly club that is well known for punching above its weight and keeping larger regional competition honest.
We have spent the past few months putting together a strong, ambitious coaching team, and following a strong performance in last month's Surrey County Championships and last autumn's National Arena League series (in which we won two of our three rounds), we want to strengthen it further by recruiting a coach for our Age Group Performance squad.
The role involves working closely with our Head Coach, the other AGP coaches, and the Lead Junior Coach: our coaching team are in close contact to ensure the smooth and continued development of our swimmers through the squads. You will also have the opportunity to work with the younger members of our coaching team so that they can learn from your experience.
Our preference is to recruit a Level 2 coach, but we will also consider applications from Level 1 coaches who show excellent potential and who would like to progress to Level 2 and further their coaching career.

Vacancy: Swim coach/teacher required
We are looking to recruit a qualified swimming coach or teacher to join our ambitious and energetic coaching team to help with the development of swimmers in our junior squads.
You will primarily be responsible for coaching our swimmers who are in the 7-10 year old range, but there will be opportunities to work with older swimmers in the Performance and Competitive squads when required, as well as attend internal and external meets.
A positive and enthusiastic approach to coaching is essential as it will be necessary to work with the swimmers to discuss their objectives and provide feedback on their development. This will also provide you with the opportunity to work with your colleagues in relation to squad promotions.
The club has had a very encouraging start to the 2021-2022 season, coming first in both rounds of the National Arena Swimming League so far. Our junior swimmers have played a central role in this success, and this is something we are looking to build on by bringing through the next wave of swimmers who will hopefully bring the club more success in the coming seasons. We have seen an influx of young swimmers at the junior end in the as few months, so we have a strong platform to build on.
Training sessions are evening-only during the week and late afternoons/evenings on Sundays.
You must have a valid and existing right to work in the UK and be successfully DBS-checked.
