"The first Saturday of the Bristol North Open proved particularly fruitful with all swimmers, without exception, gaining personal best times in all their swims, in somes cases by several seconds. That's what it's all about guys. Alice had two great swims to gain a silver medal in the 50m breastroke, just missing out on the gold by a mere fraction of a second, and also a bronze in the 50m freestyle. Rosabella gained a bronze in the 50m breastroke and a gold in the 50m freestyle in a blistering time...

The Bath/Alkmaar Twinning Association recently invited Bath Dolphin to take part in their ceremonial "sounding of the Alkmaar gong", which was held in the Guildhall in the presence of the deputy Mayor, followed by a formal reception. This is a new tradition which was started last year, as a means of ensuring the story of the gong and its role in Bath's twinning with Alkmaar is kept alive. Sunday was another hot and sticky day at Salisbury, even after the heavy showers, but that didn't stop our swimmers from producing some scintillating performances. It was really heartening to see such a large contingent of Bath Dolphin competitors which made for a great atmosphere. There were so many PBs, too numerous to mention, and inspiring performances from our younger swimmers competing in their first ever gala. A special mention must go to Josie and Albert who opened their competitive campaigns with 200m free (on Saturday) and 200m breaststroke respectively,...

Saturday’s sessions of Salisbury Open Meet saw lots Bath Dolphin swimmers competing for the first time and also many seasoned swimmers competing in new events.
