Volunteering

We are an inclusive, grassroots Swimming Club run entirely by volunteers who take on committee, coaching and lifeguard roles as well as poolside support at events and competitions.  If your child swims with the Club, we need you to take a role in making this an active, thriving Club.

We have volunteer roles to suit your interests and available time:

  • Behind the scenes as an active member of our committee.
    • There are always tasks to be done from liaising with our training venues to setting up gala entries.
    • Help set the direction of the Club and bring in new ideas.
    • One committee meeting each term (spring, summer, autumn)
    • We will support and fund any training you need to take on a Committee role.
  • Poolside as coach or teacher.  The Club will fund and support your training to do this role:
    • Role-specific training from the Institute of Swimming
