We're very pleased to have welcomed back Jenny Roberts to Bourne End Swimming Club. She joined us without any fanfare but as soon as she started swimming, her fellow Masters could tell she had some form - in fact Jenny swam with Bourne End as a youngster and held many Club records some of which still stand (Jenny Shorrocks)! Here are the results from the Club time trial held on 1 November 2020. Great support and effort from everyone who took part at such short notice. Use these times to mark your progress. In an exciting first round of this year’s Chiltern Swimming League at Aylebury’s AquaVale, the Bourne End squad were just too fast for much of the competition. With an impressive display of individual and team sprinting, Bourne End swimmers either won or placed well in the bulk of races against strong opposition from 6 other Chiltern-based clubs. Unfortunately, under the League’s ‘No Faster Than' ruling, many of the swimmers were literally too fast for their races so did not score points, despite winning well. BESC was not the only club...

Well done to everyone who took part in the Christmas Time Trials on Sunday 15 December 2019, here are the results. Use these to check your progress as you train over the coming months. Remember these times are indicative and cannot be used for entry into a Licensed gala.
