City of Cambridge Swimming Club encompasses both competitive swimming and water polo and has a reputation for developing swimmers in a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment.

We have over 300 members ranging from those just starting out in the sport, to masters competitors who have been swimming competitively for many seasons.

The club has been successful at many levels during its history, regularly placing swimmers in national championships at age group, youth and senior levels, and water polo players to national squads. The club has also appeared in both the A and B finals of the national swimming league.

Our swimmers compete regularly at various open meets and league galas both locally and further afield. These competitions are carefully chosen to reflect the ability of the team entered and to provide the appropriate level of competition.

We are based at Cambridge Parkside Pools where most training sessions take place, and also use the valuable facilities at The Leys and The Abbey Pools, in order to meet the needs of the club's comprehensive training programmes.

The Club's Mission, apart from promoting the sport of swimming, is to help to maximise the potential of every individual. This is achieved through the dedication and expertise of our coaching teams, the help of our supporters and volunteers and the work of the Committee.

We are affiliated to the Cambridgeshire and East Region Swim England and are a SwimMark Essential Club.
