How to volunteer to support your swimmers or players?
All volunteers are required by Swim England to be member of their club and have a Swim England Support Membership which covers all volunteers for insurance purposes.
The first step to become a volunteer is to become a club member. Cost for volunteers’ membership is covered by the club.
To become a member, you will need to register yourself as a member under your existing account.
To register - please click on the link below and you will be taken directly to the registration page on our Club website – you will need to log into your account and click on ‘Add Member’.
It shouldn't be a long or difficult process - but if you have any problems, please contact [email protected].
Once you have completed the registration, our admin officer will process your Swim England membership and let you know when it has been processed.
The next step is to volunteer for specific roles:

To volunteer at a gala, use the job sign-up button next to an event to select a volunteer position you would like to help with (Door, Marshall, Set-up, Computer, Announcer etc…). If you need to find out more about what’s involved in specific job, please email Charlie at [email protected].

To become an Official: for swimming, email Andrew at [email protected]; for water polo, please email [email protected].

To become a Team Manager– our region regularly runs course and further information is available on Swim England East region’s website or using this link: Team Manager workshops - Swim England East Region (eastswimming.org). Team Manager also needs to get DBS checked which is arranged by emailing [email protected].

To become a Chaperone - we need parent of Water Polo players come forward to assist at senior sessions including under-18s. For this role, there are no workshop to attend but you will need to be DBS checked so please get in touch with [email protected] to volunteer.

Gala entry – this is critical for all our external swim meets – training will be provided - please email [email protected] if you can offer help.
