CoStA (City of St Albans Swimming Club)

At CoStA we strive to be the best that we can be ... while having fun

OUR HISTORY

St Albans ASC first appeared in a Hertfordshire ASA Handbook in 1960. In 1987, it was shown as St Albans ASA (City of) and then in 1988 it was correctly shown as City of St Albans ASC, i.e. CoStA as we fondly know it today.

Many swimmers have come through the club in that time.  Since our founding numerous swimmers have progressed through our Widths and Development groups to either our conditioning/recreational or competitive squads and have been introduced to the joys, social and health benefits of swimming.

Age is also no barrier as we have a thriving Masters (20 yrs and over) section, St Albans Masters, where you can continue swimming long after you may have to give up other sports.

We are a community based sports club open to all.  Whether you are a recreational swimmer or wanting to further your competitive swimming skills or return to swimming after a break you are welcome to 'try out' and join us.
