At CoStA we strive to be the best that we can be ... while having fun

Junior 3

Coach for Junior 3 is Alex Walker.

Training:
The Junior 3 section of the club will be based between the ‘Learn to train’ and ‘train to train’ phases of LTAD and is aimed at swimmers in Year 6. In this squad swimmers will develop their aerobic capacity while maintaining the skills already developed. This will be accompanied by increasing levels of individualized and race specific technique development. The introduction of basic land training will add a further dimension to the training base for this squad and further aid the development of the swimmers. It is recommended that swimmers train a minimum of 4 sessions a week.
