About

Based at McCaulay’s Health Club in Ivybridge, Dinnaton Swimming Club has grown over the past 40 years to become one of the top competitive swimming clubs in the county, regularly achieving successes in local, regional and national competitions.  2017 saw the Club achieve great heights, with 7 swimmers qualifying for the British & English Nationals.

Dinnaton’s Head Coach is Iain Chalmers.  Iain, who grew up in Norfolk, started his coaching career at Devonport before moving to Dawlish.  He joined Dinnaton at the start of this season.

Our Learn To Swim program is run by Simone Cater.  We teach more than 200 children per week in a small group environment, many of which go on to represent the Club at competitive level.

For more information about Dinnaton Swimming Club visit the club’s website at www.dinnatonswimming.co.uk.
